Nnamdi Osuagwu is an Information Technology consultant specializing in the integration of Cybersecurity, Development & Operations and Change and Release Management. Nnamdi’s mission is to address security vulnerabilities before they make it into production by combining application and infrastructure security into the software development life cycle.
He utilizes the Agile and Lean methodologies to efficiently deliver project initiatives, optimize IT value stream and convert business needs into capabilities and services that provide real value for end users. His strategy consists of maximizing workflow through small batch sizes and constantly testing through continuous build, integration and deployment practices.
Nnamdi leverages a unique background of over 15 years of Release Management experience with Cybersecurity. He holds a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Fordham University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Temple University as well as the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL - Foundation, Transition & Operations). Past clients include JP Morgan Chase, UBS, TD Ameritrade and Barclays Wealth and Capital with project budgets ranging from $3-50M.
Nnamdi is also passionate about leveraging his technology background to further social causes. He is currently the Chief Information Officer of the The Fibroids Project, an online web community dedicated to providing women suffering from uterine fibroids with information and resources. Nnamdi is also a founding board member of the Grace N. Osuagwu Educational Foundation (GNOEF), which strives to remove economic barriers by providing students in need with grants that empower them to achieve their higher education goals.
